A Step Away

Although the headliner is the person in the spotlight at a concert, often there are people backing the main performer -- whether they're instrumentalists, singers or dancers.This docuseries puts backup dancers in the spotlight, specifically those who performed with Jennifer Lopez on her first world tour, which covered 66 cities over five continents. The show documents life on the road for the dance crew while they chase their dreams. The featured dancers include Gilbert, JLo's dance captain, who has been with her for more than a decade; Hawaii native Lake, who also plays guitar and sings; and Australian Shannon, who acts and models as well.
