Steve heads up river where he rescues a tiny orangutan being kept illegally as a pet and Michaela visits the forest school where the young orangutans are trained in climbing, feeding and socialising.

Michaela Strachan and Steve Leonard help babies Lomon, Grendon and Ellie learn how to behave like wild orangutans, and Lomon is in danger when a virus begins to spread at the centre.

There is tragedy at the rescue centre when a newly arrived baby fights for its life, Michaela hopes for the best when orphan Lomon finally starts to make some progress, and Steve helps young orangutans Grendon and Ellie learn new skills.

Michaela and Steve are encouraged by the progress of Grendon, Ellie and Lomon, and Steve travels out to rescue a tiny baby orangutan that is being illegally held in a village.

Steve rescues a big female who has dislocated her ankle fleeing from her captors, Lomon learns to climb a tree, and Zorro is finally released on to a forested island.
