A South American Journey with Jonathan Dimbleby
2011, Dokumentär, Resor
After his journeys across Russia and Africa, Jonathan Dimbleby turns his attention to South America. Daunting challenges still face a continent that once was notorious for drugs and dictators, but Dimbleby manages to find energy and optimism in this 21st century New World. Travelling from north to south, he begins in Chile and finds a nation still healing from the military rule of dictator Augusto Pinochet. In La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, Dimbleby meets child labourers who have formed a union, and he encounters coca farmers high in the Andes.
